Materials on the Position of WomenWomen in Nepal There are some studies of the general position of women in Nepal. An Asian Development Bank Country Study Women in Nepal in 19991 is perhaps a bit out of date. Center for Reproductive Rights' report, Women of the World: Laws and Policies Affecting their Reproductive Lives - South Asia, is available on line, and you will find the *chapter on Nepal here The UNDP Report Human Development in Nepal 2004 has a chapter which deals specially with women and other disadvantaged groups.
