  National Symposium of Persons with Disabilities
  
  The symposium brought together various members of the disabled community for discussion regarding their rights and the new Constitution. The persons with disability came up with their national manifesto or charter highlighting their rights and the issues that must be addressed in the new Constitution.
  
  
• June -December 2007
  Conferences on "Ensuring Dalits Rights in New Constitution"
  
  Five regional conferences and one national conference were organized on "Ensuring Dalits Rights in New Constitution". The conference provided a platform for education on the constitution building process. The national conference came up with Kathmandu Charter of Dalit Rights-2007. The conferences were organized in collaboration with a network of 16 Dalit civil society organizations.
